When we are on social media it is so easy to get lost in the world of “I want more followers.” and “I want more likes”. But remember. God wants us to be humble. He resists the proud.
James 4:6
But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
And it shouldn’t matter how many likes or shares or follows you get. It should matter what GOD thinks
!
Another social media snag that gets us is forgetting who the praise and glory belongs to. When we share a nice post or a great picture or an inspiring page or an uplifting video for God’s kingdom, a lot of the commenters will give “us” the praise for it and we may go right along with them. What we really should be doing is reminding them kindly that all the glory truly belongs to Him
